A woman was interviewed the other day on her steadily failing health. She wasn’t sure why she was having so many respiratory problems as of late but she did know that she was feeling worse than she had her entire life. “I am a healthy woman!” She said breathlessly. “I had no idea what was going on with my lungs. I felt like I was insane.” Little did Miss Judy know but the ventilation system in her home had not been properly cleaned in ages. She felt confident in her routine heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) inspections but now she knows better. The corporation she would call sent out workers who clearly hadn’t been properly trained and as such her house was filled with dust and other unfortunate things that were getting down into her lungs and making her very sick. “I finally put two and two together and called a local ventilation company and asked them to come out to my house and see if they had been doing a good job all of these years.”
What Miss Judy found out was staggering. Not only had this company not done the job correctly, they lied about what they had done. For years Judy’s health suffered and it was all fixed by the simple act of having a proper duct cleaning. “I didn’t know that could affect your health in the way that it did. I am grateful for the HVAC services that my local company gave me because they were so helpful, affordable and they also gave me quite an education.” She clutched her chest in soft hearty laughter at the idea that she was getting educated in such ways at her age. “I’m not that old yet,” she said with a sly smile, “but I certainly did believe there were some things I would never know much more about. Well I guess I was wrong.”
Judy is in great health these days and has taken a lot of joy in being outside on long walks and of course in being in her home. Judy says she can tell a distinct difference before her local Los Angeles HVAC company came and after. “The air was almost thicker before, even textured if that makes sense.” To an HVAC company it probably makes perfect sense and now to Judy it makes sense as well.
It is unfortunate that Judy had to suffer health wise like she did but fortunately she had her wits about her and was able to take care of herself. Now she has a company on hand for her heating and air conditioning repair needs who even has emergency services so she doesn’t have to worry about waiting for hours to get her heating and cooling needs fixed. “I have even got yearly appointments set up for the maintenance of my HVAC systems. I feel so taken care of.” She said with a smile that was as youthful as her skin was wrinkled. “I am just ever so grateful that I am feeling like my old self again.”
